I have a 2017 Ram 1500 without Eco Engine with a 6.4ft box and looking for a Curt Fifth Wheel Hitch without the slider

For your 2017 RAM 1500 without Eco Engine, we recommend the Curt Fifth Wheel Hitch refer to Curt's A16 5th wheel part 16120.

You would also need to purchase the Curt Universal Install kits refer to part 16204.

How do I measure my vehicle's frame width to confirm if this trailer hitch will fit?

When measuring the frame width on a vehicle, you will need to measure from the outside of one frame rail to the outside of the other frame rail.

Do Curt Cargo Baskets Work With a Rhino Roof Rack?

Our customer asked: I have a Rhino roof rack setup and want to order a cargo box and extension from Curt. Are the two brands compatible?

The answer is yes - Curt baskets will work with a Rhino Roof Rack as long as the spread of the bars meets certain guidelines. The crossbar spread (the measurement between crossbars from centre to centre) must be either 15, 22 or 29 inches apart. Because these measurements are typical to most roof rack brands the Curt cargo basket will also work with Yakima, Thule & Rola racks. Adding an extension to this will not affect it's compatibility & no additional hardware will be required to complete the install.
