Installing the Rhino Rack Batwing Awning On A Landcruiser With The Pioneer Rack

First Step: Take out all pieces and make sure you have

Attach rear mounting point on the drivers side by sliding it into the channel on the pioneer rack and tightening it with the allen key provided.
Next we slide the bracket assemblies into the slots on the awning itself, noting the height we wanted to attach the brackes as you have two options.
Leaving the bolts loose so we can adjust them on the pioneer tray, we place the awning on the tray and attach it with the m6 nuts and bolts in the pioneer channel using the horizontal bolt holes.

We found that sliding the plate nut under the bracket and screwing the bolts until it catches worked great just using our hands. Make sure the awning is in the correct position according to the tailgate and to finish off the assembly, use a socket wrench to tighten it completely. Now your awning is ready to be used again and again.

To open your awning, unzip the awning bag and undo the straps. The panels will be neatly tucked in, take them out and each of the legs will be secured in a small clasp. Pull the awning out completely and carefully and attach the end support to the rear of the vehicle. Tighten all the poles and use the support straps and pegs during your stay.
To pack it up release your support straps and end suppoty, bring up the legs, fold the panels in half and roll them. Secure them with the straps and zip up your bag and you're ready for more #adventuresonwheels.
