This hitch sits up high and does not compromise vehicle ground clearance like some other makes. Does not protrude when the receiver is removed and looks like a factory installation. Just finished installing my Curt # 11422 hitch and #56236 wiring harness on my 2015 TDI Sportswagon. The hitch went in easily. Watched a Utube vid to clear up any doubts. I suggest anyone doing the same job should clean out the threaded 8mm holes with a tap so the torque is accurate. The wiring was time consuming since I detest wire crimp connectors and only solder and shrink tube. Using split wire loom is always good insurance. Hard to believe that after all these years no one makes a plug in harness for VWs like the no fuss one I got for my Honda CRV. I was happy to deal with a Canadian company and avoid all that American cash difference and border fees. Hitchweb even shipped free and it got here in less than 24 hours, WOW ! Will definitely recommend this company to my friends.
