There are 3 steps to follow once you have selected your PullRite 5th Wheel hitch to complete your setup to be sure you have the right install kit and capture plate to hook up your trailer. The 3 steps you follow will depend on which PullRite SuperGlide 5th Wheel Hitch you purchase.

HITCHES REQUIRING STANDARD UNIVERSAL RAILS:

When using or buying any of these 5th wheel hitches, you will require standard (universal) rail kits.

STEP 1:
Choose one of these Universal Rail Kits. Only one rail kit is required for your installation.

STEP 2:
You will also need a capture plate that's made to fit your trailer's king pin. Refer to the model search found at the top left of the Pullrite Capture Plate category.

5TH WHEEL HITCHES REQUIRING CUSTOM RAILS:

STEP 1:
Some PullRite 5th wheel hitches require custom rail kits (PullRite SuperRails). Choose your SuperGlide 5th wheel hitch, and refer to the vehicle search guide at the top left of this page to find the correct rail kit for your vehicle.

I'm buying a 2017 GMC Sierra 4x4 crew cab with short box. It will have the new GMC Puck system (5th Wheel/Goose Neck prep package). I'd like the PullRite 4100 16K auto slide hitch. Other than the pin box adaptor, what else will I need to mount the hitch to the GM prep package? Thanks.

Hi Don - we're happy to give you some recommendations for your Sierra. Before we proceed can you please advise if you're looking specifically for a Pullrite setup or if you prefer one of our standard fifth wheel lines from Reese/Curt/Hijacker? We also need to know the bed length to see if we'll also need a slider/pinbox extender. You can reply to this comment or send the info to sales@hitchweb.com and we'll reply back with part #'s and prices. Thank you!

Hello Anonymous, Our apologies for the confusion. Does your vehicle have the factory tow prep package or anything in the bed of your truck? This will help us decide if you need a hitch with universal rails or custom rails. Once we have this information, we can serve you better. One of our team members will also contact you by email.
