I called Kurt support on Hitchweb's recommendation because the wiring didn't work on installation. Mike helped out with some advice (a second fuse to be installed on the 2025 CR-V that wasn't required on the previous '19 and '21 versions) which solved the problem. I called back to confirm that the advice worked. Another guy answered the call and I suggested that if Mike's advice had been in the instructions for my specific model and year, it would have save me a call and worked the first time. This was met with an explanation that there were a lot of options year to year and they couldn't cover them all in the instructions. Not what I would expect for something that is supposed to be designed for a specific model and year when you order by specific model and year. They need to do better.

The first hitch received was damage enough that it could not be install, one of the side plate was bent by a full inch inward. Impossible to fit on the car just by seeing it. So contacted support by phone. They told me to send pictures, that they would be sent to the warehouse that shipped my hitch and that it would take 2-3 to evaluate the issue and know what will be the next step. 3 days, later, not having any answer yet, I contacted support by replying to the email/ticket. They answer me right away with a new tracking number without telling me what to do with the damage one at first. But everything cleared out with another email and the second hitch was perfectly good.

Fast shipping. Easy to get problem resolved, was no fault of Hitchweb, was a manufacturing defect.

Ordered a hitch and wiring kit for CRV which arrived in short order, thinking the wiring harness was in the hitch box, but when I went to install both I realized the wiring kit never arrived. I called customer service and they immediately checked it out and found the carrier had made the mistake and lost the wiring kit. Anyway I got my wiring kit resent immediately and was not charged the second time. Installed both with no problem and very impressed with the hitch, only the receiver is visible and the rest is hidden behind the bumper. I would certainly recommend this company and their products and service.

The delivery time was very fast. I opted to not install the hitch myself but did the electrical hookup. The instructions and photos for that part were a wee bit less than fantastic. Turned out to be a bit harder than anticipated for my current vehicle, an SUV. Had done it before on a sedan with much less difficulty. However got it done and it works well. I would go back in future if I changed vehicle. MUCH less expensive than the trailer hitch specialist sales/installers.

Honda CRV installation somewhat difficult

I found Your Company on the web which I shared. I needed hitch for my 2017 Honda CRV. I searched and found the hitch needed for my vehicle. I phoned your personnel and ordered the item on the phone, the assistant was very helpful in checking for the correct item and placed the order. Your personnel was very observant in stating the first electrical plug in harness was not in stock, and a substitute was recommended which cost was more than the original, the price was priced matched which was greatly appreciated. Excellent service, delivery was very quick and when I discovered one component missing my email was answered immediately at which time they found the wiring harness was back ordered. It was sent out the next day and I received it within two days. The only issue which I was surprised about was that when ordering a trailer hitch and a ball mount I assumed it would come with a connecting pin to put them together but I guess not. Anyway, I got a Curt pin locally for 3$ and the whole thing was installed within 9 days of ordering. Looks great.
