It is my first time using this system, and so far I have a good experience with it.

I called Kurt support on Hitchweb's recommendation because the wiring didn't work on installation. Mike helped out with some advice (a second fuse to be installed on the 2025 CR-V that wasn't required on the previous '19 and '21 versions) which solved the problem. I called back to confirm that the advice worked. Another guy answered the call and I suggested that if Mike's advice had been in the instructions for my specific model and year, it would have save me a call and worked the first time. This was met with an explanation that there were a lot of options year to year and they couldn't cover them all in the instructions. Not what I would expect for something that is supposed to be designed for a specific model and year when you order by specific model and year. They need to do better.

The first hitch received was damage enough that it could not be install, one of the side plate was bent by a full inch inward. Impossible to fit on the car just by seeing it. So contacted support by phone. They told me to send pictures, that they would be sent to the warehouse that shipped my hitch and that it would take 2-3 to evaluate the issue and know what will be the next step. 3 days, later, not having any answer yet, I contacted support by replying to the email/ticket. They answer me right away with a new tracking number without telling me what to do with the damage one at first. But everything cleared out with another email and the second hitch was perfectly good.

Hitch arrived quickly and in great condition. This hitch installs nicely with minimal portions exposed. Clean install when following the locations to trim on the under fascia. Due to its location on the lower fascia, the hand free opening sensor has not been affected with this hitch. Cross bar comes across and above this sensor, so no relocation or other work necessary for it to work. Nice surprise. Instructions for install were easy to follow.

Ordered a hitch and wiring kit for CRV which arrived in short order, thinking the wiring harness was in the hitch box, but when I went to install both I realized the wiring kit never arrived. I called customer service and they immediately checked it out and found the carrier had made the mistake and lost the wiring kit. Anyway I got my wiring kit resent immediately and was not charged the second time. Installed both with no problem and very impressed with the hitch, only the receiver is visible and the rest is hidden behind the bumper. I would certainly recommend this company and their products and service.

Parts delivered very quickly. Received the info for the shipping, but the part was already delivered at my house. Since nobody was home, the part was left outside all day before i got home.
