Fit and finish are fine. All the parts were in the bag. Do everyone a favor and put the split ring on the latch mechanism . Save yourself the cost of 2 cotter pins. Save the customer major inconvenience during a 'dry' fit. In my case I was doing an initial fit and closed the gate to see the latch points. One cotter pin pinged off and the latch ran fully into place. No amount of prying would release it. So I went to the other side and tried to pull that side open with the cotter pin. Wrong again. It pulled out. I now know how to disassemble both latches while locked in place. Frustrating.
